1.In the backend, navigate to "Product & Services" > "Public Cloud" > Enter the product that needs to be reinstalled.
2.In the "Server Information" section on the product management page, click on "Reinstall OS."
3.Select the desired operating system and set a password (or you can also click on "Generate Random Password"). Once you have made the selections, click on "Confirm."
- Reinstalling the operating system will format the system disk but will not affect the data disk. If you need to format the data disk, please perform the installation through the control panel.
4.Wait for the installation to complete. You can check the system status through the VNC window.
5.After the installation is completed, you can try remote login. You can click on the eye icon next to the asterisk to view the password after reinstalling.
- To perform a reinstallation in the control panel, you need to first log in to the panel. Please refer to the login method for instructions on how to log in:How to log in to the public cloud control panel
1.Once logged in to the control panel, click on "Reinstall" for the corresponding product.
2.Select the desired operating system, choose whether to generate a random password or specify a remote port, and select whether to format the data disk (click if needed, otherwise leave unselected as it will only format the system disk by default). Finally, click "Confirm" to proceed.
System Reinstallation Notice:
- For Linux systems, reinstalling the operating system will result in a complete disk format, and data cannot be recovered. Please ensure to back up your data in advance.
- For Windows systems, a full reinstallation will erase all data, and it cannot be recovered. If you have any data that needs to be preserved, please back it up beforehand.
- When reinstalling the Windows operating system, please ensure that the first partition on the hard disk is the system partition.
