1.Click on "Product Services" to expand the menu, then click on "Dedicated Servers". Select the respective region and you will see all the machines in that region. Find the machine you want to operate on and click on it.
2.On the product page, after clicking on "Reinstall System," you will see a prompt informing you that system reinstallation is limited to 99 times within a week. Click "OK" to proceed.
3.After clicking on "Operating System," select the desired system to install.
4.You can choose between a full disk format installation or a format installation on the first partition (typically the C drive). For partitioning, you can select either custom partitioning or the default option (which typically allocates 100GB for the C drive).
5.For Linux system installation, you can choose either the default partition or custom partitioning. Please note that reinstalling the system will result in the loss of all data. It is important to ensure that your data has been backed up before proceeding. The default partition typically assigns the entire disk space to the root (/) partition.
6.Reinstalling the system can also be done through the control panel. The login method can be referred to as follows: Physical Server Management Panel Login Method
- Boot Mode: The default boot mode is BIOS. However, if you need to install Windows on a hard drive larger than 2TB, you will need to select UEFI boot mode.
- Operating System: Currently supported operating systems include Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, VMware ESXi, XenServer, and Proxmox.
- Partition Types: For Windows systems, you can choose between formatting the entire disk or formatting the first partition (usually the C drive) for installation. If the machine has multiple hard drives, you can choose the advanced option to specify which disk to install the system on.
- Default Partitioning: For Windows systems, you have the option of using the default partitioning scheme. Additional configuration and custom partitioning are also available. If you have specific partitioning requirements, you can choose the custom partitioning option to modify the partition sizes. For Linux systems, the default option is to format the entire disk.
- Partitioning Scheme: The available options include default partitioning, additional configuration, and custom partitioning. If you choose custom partitioning, you can modify the partition sizes. For Linux systems, you can also choose the partition format, such as ext3, ext4, or xfs. Please note that reinstalling the system will result in the loss of all data. Make sure to backup your data before proceeding.
